A Row of Tombs: Jung and Reincarnation [FILM]

A Row of Tombs: Jung and Reincarnation is a documentary film based on three videotaped interviews held in 1985 with the late Jungian therapist and New York philanthropist, Erlo van Waveren. The film documents van Waveren’s analytical work with C.G. Jung on Jung’s past life dreams and visions. In the interviews, van Waveren discloses previously unknown facts about Jung’s and his inner circle’s preoccupation with past life material in dreams at a time when the Zeitgeist would not allow this perspective to come out into the open.
In the film, Dr. Sabine Lucas––a Zurich trained Jungian analyst of the next generation who authored the book, Past Life Dreamwork: Healing the Soul by Understanding Karmic Patterns (Baer & Company, 2008)––introduces Erlo van Waveren and his material. Throughout the film, she comments on van Wavern’s material and amplifies it from her perspective as a psychotherapist with a long history of working with past life dreams.
In this Friday evening program, Dr. Lucas will show her documentary in person. The film will be preceded by a brief introduction where she will relate synchronistic events that called this film into being. The viewing of the film will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
SABINE LUCAS was born, raised, and educated in Germany. She holds a PhD in German and English studies from Heidelberg University and a diploma from the C. G. Jung Institute in Zurich. While in Zurich, she translated articles for Jung’s Collected Works as well as American trance medium Jane Robert’s books, Seth Speaks and The Nature of Personal Reality, into German. After relocating to the United States, Dr. Lucas introduced students at the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno to dream analysis and worked as a part-time therapist at the Counseling Center in Mariposa, California. Since 1987, she has been in private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After the 2008 publication of her groundbreaking study, Past Life Dreamwork, Dr. Lucas has mostly specialized on past life dreams and past life integration.

If you register to attend via ZOOM, the ZOOM link will be sent out on Friday, December 6, 2024 by Noon Mountain Time.
This lecture will be recorded. Everyone who registers for the event will receive access to the video recording one week after.
